About Me

My name is Lindsey Burns, and I’m a graphic designer specializing in Brand & Visual Design based in Dallas, Texas. I graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Communication Design.

I discovered my love for art when I was a child and knew I wanted to pursue a career in it. Although my first love was studio art, I picked up graphic design in my early years of high school, and that’s when everything fell into place. Everything about graphic design made everything click for me. What I love most about design is the way it allows me to problem-solve throughout every project. There’s a solution to every problem, and the feeling of finding it is so rewarding and accomplishing, it never gets old.

When it comes to my approach as a designer, I pay close attention to detail, think logically, learn new techniques when needed, and conclude with a promising design solution. I also enjoy working in collaborative environments where I’m able to work with other designers and professionals. I have a strong teamwork mindset and value open communication and shared problem-solving.

Although I am very passionate about design, when I’m not on my computer, you can find me cooking, hiking, trying new foods, updating my Pinterest boards, taking silly pictures of my cat and dog, hanging out with my friends and family, going to concerts, or catching a movie at the theater!
